TN BJP Leader Moves SC For CBI Probe Into Karur Stampede

A Tamil Nadu BJP leader has petitioned the Supreme Court, seeking a CBI or independent SIT probe into the Karur stampede that killed 41. The plea also demands increased compensation from the state and actor Vijay’s party. The High Court earlier formed an SIT but refused a CBI probe.
