Mahayuti Wins 64 Maharashtra Seats Unopposed Before Polls

Ahead of municipal polls, Mahayuti—BJP, Shinde Shiv Sena, and NCP—has won 64 Maharashtra municipal seats unopposed as opposition candidates withdrew. BJP led with 43 seats, Shiv Sena 19, and NCP 2. Region-wise, victories spanned Kalyan-Dombivli, Bhiwandi, Panvel, and more. The win strengthens the ruling alliance ahead of the January 15 civic polls.
