BJP Announces 9 Candidates For Puducherry Polls

The BJP announced nine candidates, including Home Minister A. Namassivayam for Mannadipet, with just days before Puducherry’s April 9 elections. Under a new agreement, the AINRC will contest 16 seats, while the BJP-led alliance takes 14. The BJP also shared its quota with the AIADMK and LJK. Results for the 30-seat assembly are expected in May. 4.
