West Bengal: EC To Use AI Tools To Detect Fake Voters

The Election Commission will initiate artificial intelligence-based verification systems for the ongoing SIR of the electoral rolls in West Bengal. This decision has been taken to stop the inclusion of fake or deceased voters. The AI will detect the voter’s photograph in multiple locations across the rolls by using facial matching technology.
