Telangana Withdraws Land Acquisition For Pharma Village Amid Protests

In response to public resistance, Telangana govt has withdrawn the notification for land acquisition for the proposed ‘Pharma Village’ in Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s Kodangal constituency. Instead, the govt plans to acquire land for a multipurpose industrial park. This decision follows the violence in Lagacherla village, where officials were attacked during a public hearing on November 11.
