SLBC Tunnel To Become Operational By June 2028

Work on the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) Tunnel has resumed after being halted on Feb 22 last year due to an accident. Construction restarted on the outlet side at Devarakonda in mid-February and on the inlet side at Domalapenta on March 20. The government aims to complete the project by the end of 2027, with operations expected to begin by June 2028.
