Telangana Set To Hold Local Body Polls Soon

The Telangana government plans to conduct local body elections by late November or early December, pending a High Court verdict on 42% BC reservations on November 3. A Cabinet meeting on November 7 will finalize the poll schedule. If the stay continues, elections will proceed with 23% BC quota while implementing the Rythu Bharosa scheme.
