Omar Abdullah Renews Call For J&K Statehood

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah urged early restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood to empower the elected government. Speaking in Kulgam, he said the Centre should honor its promise made in Parliament and the Supreme Court. Abdullah vowed to continue pressing for it, citing commitments made during last year’s assembly elections.
