Rajnath To Commission First Pollution Control Ship

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to commission the Indian Coast Guard’s first pollution control vessel, ‘Samudra Pratap’, today. Constructed at Goa Shipyard Ltd using indigenous technology, the ship features a sophisticated oil spill detection system. It is designed to strengthen India’s capability to carry out effective anti-pollution missions.
