NDA Seat-Sharing For Assam Polls Finalised, Says Himanta

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the NDA’s seat-sharing formula for the 2026 Assembly elections is finalised. The BJP, AGP, UPPL and BPF will contest under a “done deal” arrangement. After completing formalities, state leaders will meet Amit Shah with the candidate list. Elections are due in March–April following delimitation changes.
