After 25 leaders of the Chhattisgarh NHM strike were dismissed, over 14,000 contractual health workers resigned in protest. Demanding service regularisation and better conditions, employees have been on strike since Aug 18. Despite partial acceptance of demands, workers allege unfair treatment. Health services across the state are disrupted.
