Ex-CJI Gavai Vacates Official Facilities Post Retirement

Former Chief Justice of India Justice Bhushan Ramakrishna Gavai handed over his official vehicle at Rashtrapati Bhavan for newly sworn-in CJI Justice Suryakant. After Suryakant took oath as the 53rd CJI, Gavai departed in his private vehicle. As per protocol, former CJIs must relinquish official residences and facilities after completing their tenure.
