‘Komuram Bheem’ was a tribal freedom fighter from Telangana, who led a revolt against the Nizam’s rule in Hyderabad for Adivasi rights and self-governance. He coined the slogan “Jal, Jangal, Zameen” (Water, Forest, Land)”, symbolizing tribal empowerment. Martyred in 1940, Bheem remains a symbol of courage, and justice for indigenous communities.
