Zomato has raised its platform fee to ₹10 from ₹7 as the festive season approaches. This fee adjustment, first introduced at ₹2 in August 2023, aims to improve margins. The increase could yield an additional ₹65 crore annually based on Zomato’s FY2023 order volume. The company also reported a modest rise in Q2 profits amid investments in expanding its Blinkit service.
