West Bengal government down played ‘mass resignations’ of senior doctors in the state. Over 200 senior doctors in various government hospitals submitted ‘mass resignations’ this week. The government said they are generic letters and have no legal value, the state said. Junior doctors have been staging protests since the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College.
