The United States urged India to take Canada’s allegations of an assassination plot seriously as tensions between the two countries rise. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller emphasized that the claims are extremely serious and called for India to cooperate with Canada in its investigation. He noted that India has not engaged with Canada and has instead chosen an alternate path.
