US B-2 stealth bombers on early Thursday conducted airstrikes targeting underground bunkers used by Yemen’s Houthi rebels. The strikes, which are uncommon against the Houthis, reportedly hit locations around Sanaa and Saada. US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stated that five underground weapons storage sites were targeted, also serving as a warning to Iran.
