To ensure pilgrims have access to water during Mahakumbh 2025, the Uttar Pradesh government plans to install 200 water ATMs and 6,500 tap stands along approach roads in Prayagraj. Managed by the Jal Sansthan, the initiative includes 1,249 km of pipelines for purified RO water. Preparations are on track for completion by December 15, aiming to serve over 400 million pilgrims.
