In a significant seizure, Mathura Police recovered 12.5 kilograms of gold valued at approximately ₹9.25 crore during checks on the Yamuna Expressway, police officials reported on Wednesday. The gold was found in a car at Mant Toll, and the occupants couldn’t provide official documentation. Consequently, the GST and IT departments are now involved, and two arrests have been made.
