Due to heavy rains in the upper areas, the Tungabhadra reservoir in Karnataka has once again flooded. As a result, officials lifted at least 20 crest gates, raising them by 2.5 feet and releasing 74,376 cusecs of water downstream. Currently, the inflow is measured at 84,141 cusecs, marking a significant increase for the month of October.
