TTD Begins Annual Yaga To Advance Sanatana Dharma
The Sri Srinivasa Divyanugraha Homam at the Homa Vedika of Sapta Gau Pradakshina Mandiram near Alipiri was inaugurated by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Thursday in conjunction with Utthana Ekadasi of the auspicious Karthika month. For a small charge, Hindu devotees from all around the world can participate in the homam, which will be held year-round.
The Sri Srinivasa Divyanugraha Homam at the Homa Vedika of Sapta Gau Pradakshina Mandiram near Alipiri was inaugurated by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Thursday in conjunction with Utthana Ekadasi of the auspicious Karthika month. For a small charge, Hindu devotees from all around the world can participate in the homam, which will be held year-round. The Lord Srinivasa deities, Sridevi, and Bhudevi were carried in a procession before the Homam began. Vedic experts from S.V. Vedic University performed the homam in front of the deities, who were seated on a designated platform. Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, the chairman of TTD, stated during the event that the devasthanam’s only goal is to make it easier for followers to receive the divine blessings of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. The great legacy of Sanatana Dharma was emphasized, along with TTD’s dedication to its promotion and preservation. There are plans to establish a permanent Homa Vedika, where 400–500 devotees can engage in the human at various times without any disruption, as announced by Karunakar Reddy. Participating at the ceremony were tourism minister R.K. Roja, deputy mayor Bhumana Abhinay Reddy, physician R. Sireesha, chief operating officer of TTD A.V. Dharma Reddy, and joint executive officers S. Bhargavi and V. Veerabrahmam.
