Several private travel companies are taking advantage of travelers heading to their hometowns from Hyderabad during the Dussehra festival. Currently, non-AC bus fares have increased by ₹700-1,000, while AC bus fares have risen by ₹1,000-2,000. Return journey prices for Sunday have also doubled. The ticket price from Hyderabad to Kadapa, which was ₹1,000, has now surged to ₹2,000-3,000.
