The NTR district has emerged as the top contender in Andhra Pradesh’s liquor license applications, receiving an impressive 5,800 applications for just 113 outlets. This surge is part of the state’s new liquor policy, which saw a total of 89,882 applications submitted statewide, generating ₹1,797.64 crore in revenue. The lottery for license allocation will take place on October 14, with contracts issued on Oct 15.
