A temple in Shamshabad, Hyderabad, was vandalised on Tuesday. The priest found the idols damaged when he arrived for morning rituals. Local police, alerted by the priest and residents, began investigating and suspect the miscreants struck late Monday night. BJP leaders visited the site, demanding severe punishment for those responsible. Police have detained a suspect for questioning.
