The ‘Bathukamma’ festival celebrations will commence across Telangana on Wednesday, starting with ‘Engili Bathukamma’ and concluding with ‘Saddula Bathukamma.’ Women throughout the state participate in various games during this time. In light of the festivities, the govt has granted relaxations to Anganwadi teachers and helpers to enable their participation in the Bathukamma celebrations.
