As AI adoption accelerates among Indian enterprises, Tech Mahindra and Google Cloud have announced a strategic partnership to advance generative AI (gen AI) and drive digital transformation for Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M). Tech Mahindra will utilize AI and machine learning (ML) to enhance engineering, supply chain, and service operations for M&M. Rucha Nanavati, Chief Information Officer at Mahindra Group, highlighted that this partnership aims to set new benchmarks in customer experience through AI-driven insights.
Google Cloud will assist M&M in detecting manufacturing anomalies, optimizing energy use, improving vehicle safety, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction. Bikram Singh Bedi, Vice President and Country MD at Google Cloud, emphasized their commitment to providing secure cloud infrastructure and advanced AI tools. The collaboration will also focus on developing AI-powered applications for critical business areas and managing enterprise applications and simulators.
Atul Soneja, Chief Operating Officer at Tech Mahindra, noted that this partnership underscores their dedication to helping enterprises scale rapidly and unlock new value through AI and ML insights. In 2023, Tech Mahindra opened a delivery center in Guadalajara, Mexico, to provide Google Cloud-centric solutions and support customers in modernizing infrastructure and managing workloads with advanced technologies.
