Tamil Nadu Reports One Death, 544 Injured In 150 Fire Accidents On Deepavali

Tamil Nadu reported a total of 150 fire accidents on Deepavali. These incidents resulted in one death and 544 injuries. Chennai accounted for 48 of these accidents, down from 102 in 2023. Police cited hospital data to highlight these incidents. Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Department deployed over 8,000 personnel across 368 locations, including more than 800 in Chennai, to manage emergencies.
