Tamil Nadu Declares Half-Day Holiday For Deepavali Festivities

Tamil Nadu govt has announced a half-day holiday for schools and colleges on Wednesday, October 30, in celebration of Deepavali festivities. Educational institutions will operate only until noon on that day. With Deepavali occurring on Thursday, October 31, the state govt has also declared holidays for Thursday and Friday. Additionally, Puducherry has recognized October 30 as a holiday.
