Sivamani Paramesh Takes Over As New Director General Of Coast Guard

Sivamani Paramesh took over as the 26th director general of the Coast Guard. He was appointed in the post just a day before by Modi government. Paramesh was given the additional charge of Director General Coast Guard in August 2024, after the death of his predecessor, Rakesh Pal, due to cardiac arrest.
