Shankaracharya Swami Refuses Worship In Ayodhya, Advocates For Cow Protection Laws

Uttarakhand’s Jyotir Math Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteswarananda Saraswati has refused to worship at the Ayodhya Temple, the birthplace of Lord Srirama, citing the temple’s incomplete construction as the reason for his decision. Recently, he initiated a Bharat Yatra from Ayodhya aimed at establishing the Godhwaja and has called on the Central Govt to frame and pass laws for cow protection.
