Severe Rains Disrupt Flight Operations And Trigger Landslides In Tirupati

Heavy rains in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, disrupted flight operations at Renigunta Airport, causing some flights from Hyderabad to be diverted to Chennai due to water on the runway. The road to the airport was also flooded. Continuous downpour since Tuesday inundated low-lying areas and triggered landslides on the Ghat road, affecting access to the Sri Venkateswara temple on Tirumala hill.
