Kerala reported its second mpox case on Friday, with an Ernakulam resident testing positive for the virus. Health department sources state the man’s condition is stable and he is receiving treatment at a hospital. The specific strain of the virus is still under investigation. Earlier, on September 18, the first case was confirmed in Malappuram, involving a man returning from the UAE.
