SC Refuses To Stay Nayab Saini’s Oath Ceremony

The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected a petition requesting a halt to Nayab Singh Saini’s swearing-in ceremony as Haryana’s Chief Minister in Chandigarh. The bench stated that it cannot halt an elected government from taking an oath. The bench further warned the petitioner about the possibility of incurring costs.
