SC Criticizes Air Pollution Panel And Condemns Punjab & Haryana Govts

The Supreme Court on Wednesday criticized the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM), labeling it a “toothless wonder.” The court also ordered the CAQM to take action against Haryana and Punjab government officials for their failure to address violations.
