Sanjay Raut Sentenced To 15 Days In Jail In Defamation Case

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut was convicted by the Mazgaon Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court in a defamation case filed by Dr. Medha Kirit Somaiya, wife of BJP leader Kirit Somaiya, on Thursday. The case stems from Raut’s allegations of the couple’s involvement in a ₹100 crore corruption case. Raut was sentenced to 15 days in jail and fined ₹25,000.
