Punjab CM Sanctions Prosecution Of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh In Sacrilege Case

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has given greenlight for the prosecution of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the disgraced chief of Dera Sacha Sauda, in connection with the 2015 sacrilege cases. This decision comes after the Supreme Court’s recent lifting of a stay on the trial, allowing proceedings to continue and requiring Ram Rahim to respond within four weeks.
