PM Vishwakarma Yojana: Empowering Traditional Artisans With Modern Tools

The PM Vishwakarma Yojana aims to uplift traditional artisans like carpenters, masons, and tailors, with 2.58 crore applications submitted so far. Of these, 23.75 lakh have been verified for benefits. Nearly 10 lakh recipients have received toolkit incentives up to Rs 15,000 via e-vouchers to purchase modern tools for their trades, as reported by the NSDC.
