The PM Internship Scheme is set to launch on Thursday, with the central govt introducing a new portal for applications. Interested candidates will be able to apply on the portal starting Oct 12. The scheme aims to provide internship to one crore youth over the next five years, offering a monthly stipend of Rs. 5,000. Companies will cover 10% of the training costs through their CSR funds.
