Plea Against Uddhav Sena Leader’s Lok Sabha MP Election Dismissed

The Bombay High Court has rejected a petition challenging Anil Desai’s election as the Shiv Sena (UBT) representative for the Mumbai South Central Lok Sabha seat. Desai won by 53,384 votes against the Eknath Shinde faction’s Rahul Shewale. The petition, filed by advocate Mahendra Bhingardive, sought to invalidate Desai’s nomination papers and declare him the elected candidate for the seat.
