Thane Police seized banned gutka worth ₹8.42 lakh from a tempo and arrested its driver in Bhiwandi, police officials said on Thursday. The vehicle was stopped near Karivali police chowkie, and gutka was found inside. The driver revealed the stock was ordered by a man from Gaibibi Nagar during interrogation, said cops.
