Odisha Govt Introduces 1-Day Of Menstrual Leave Monthly For Women Employees

The Odisha govt announced that women employees will now receive an additional 12 days of casual leave (CL) annually, bringing their total to 27 days. This follows Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida’s earlier announcement granting women one day’s paid menstrual leave each month. Men will continue to have 15 days of casual leave. The changes aim to address women’s family responsibilities.
