In response to increasing cyber fraud, the Indian government has introduced a new helpline number, 1930, replacing the previous 155260. Managed by state police forces, this helpline assists victims of financial fraud and allows for complaints via the National Cyber Crime Portal. Developed with the Reserve Bank of India, it ensures that citizens can report cyber crimes without needing internet access.
