Floodwater continues to flow into the Nagarjuna Sagar dam, located on the Krishna River in the Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh. At least 16 crest gates have been lifted to release water downstream. The current inflow to the project is 170,000 cusecs, while the outflow is 174,879 cusecs. The full water level of the project is 590 feet, and the current water level has reached 588.70 feet.
