Thousands gathered in Mysuru on Saturday to witness the grand Jamboo Savari procession, marking the culmination of the Dasara festivities. Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah inaugurated the event by showering flowers on Goddess Chamundeshwari’s idol, carried by the caparisoned elephant Abhimanyu in a 750 kg howdah. The procession featured cultural tableaux, celebrating Karnataka’s rich heritage.
