King Charles III had a contentious experience in the Australian Parliament on Monday. Immediately following his address, local representative Lidia Thorpe shouted slogans against Britain’s colonial policies. She proclaimed, “Give us back our land. Give us what you stole from us. This is not your land. You are not our king.” The visit is part of Charles’s 9-day tour to Australia and Samoa.
