J&K Opposition Slams Omar Abdullah For Statehood-Only Resolution

Political parties in J&K criticized the Omar Abdullah-led Cabinet’s resolution seeking statehood restoration without mentioning Article 370. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), People’s Conference (PC), and Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) accused the National Conference (NC) of betraying its pre-poll promises. PDP leader Iltija Mufti called it an utter surrender.
