India’s Foreign Minister Jaishankar predicted that the US will likely become “more isolationist,” regardless of whether Donald Trump or Kamala Harris wins the 2024 presidential election. Speaking in Canberra on November 6, Jaishankar noted that the election results would not reverse what he termed a “long-term trend” in U.S. foreign policy, according to a Reuters report.
