It Became My Identity: Ranbir Kapoor On Being Called A Casanova & Cheater

Before marrying Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor often made headlines due to his past relationships with famous actresses like Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif.

While addressing a show, Ranbir addressed the labels of “Casanova” and “Cheater” that followed him due to these relationships. He reflected on how dating two successful actresses led to these perceptions.

He stated, “Of course, I dated two very successful actresses, and it just became my identity that he is a casanova. I was labeled a cheater for a very large part of my life, and still, I am.”

Ranbir and Deepika Padukone started dating after meeting on the set of ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ in 2008, but they split after a year. He then dated Katrina Kaif, whom he met while filming Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani in 2009.

They were together for about six years before breaking up between 2015 and 2016. Currently, all three stars are happily married. Deepika Padukone married Ranveer Singh in November 2018 and is expecting their first child in September.

Katrina Kaif married Vicky Kaushal in December 2021, while Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had an intimate wedding in 2022 and are proud parents to their daughter, Raha.
