Star Actress Katrina Kaif Turns 42 Today

Star Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif turns 42 today. She was born on July 16, 1983, in British Hong Kong. Kartina was born to Mohammed Kaif, a British businessman of Kashmiri descent, and her mother, Suzanne, is a charity worker.

Kaif made her debut in Gustad’s Hindi-English heist movie ‘Boom’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Gulshan Grover, Jackie Shroff, Madhu Sapre, Padma Lakshmi, and several popular actors.

Kaif’s performances in the thriller New York (2009) and the romantic comedy Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011) got records at the box office, and she earned her nominations for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. She acted in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009), Raajneeti (2010), and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011).

She got major commercial success in the action thrillers Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Dhoom 3 (2013), and Bang Bang! (2014). Some of her top films are Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), Sooryavanshi (2021), Tiger 3 (2023), etc.

Kaif has a close relationship with her family. In fact, Kaif’s mother is Christian and her father is Muslim, and she was allowed to practice a faith of her choice and is a firm believer in God. She visited Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai, Mount Mary Church, and the Sufi shrine Ajmer Sharif Dargah as well.

She married Vicky Kaushal on December 9, 2021, in a traditional Hindu style at Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.
