High Court Pushes For More Women Drivers, Cybercrime Reforms

The Rajasthan High Court directed the state to ensure ride-hailing apps have 15% women drivers within six months and 25% later, with women passengers allowed to choose women drivers. In a wider cybercrime reform order, it mandated stricter SIM and bank checks, gig worker registration, uniforms, QR IDs, and improved cyber-policing infrastructure.
